The first five years of your little one’s life are crucial to the development of intellect, personality, and resilience. As early childhood educators, we know the impact we have on a child and their whole life.
Our emergent curriculum and environment will stimulate your child’s drive for exploration and discovery. Our inquiry-based program will also give your child the space needed to seek knowledge and to develop positive attitudes towards learning.
Laugh & Learn ELCC plans your child’s program according to the following seven developmental domains in order to inspire and nurture your child to their fullest potential:
Language & Literacy
Involves your child’s ability to convey their ideas, thoughts, and emotions through speaking and writing.
Math & Numeracy
Involves your child’s ability to demonstrate how they wonder, discover, create, practice, and manipulate mathematical concepts and processes within the environment.
Grace & Courtesy
Educates your child on how to act in social situations, while practicing how to be respectful, kind, and considerate of others. Grace & Courtesy also extends to how we show consideration and respect for the environment and others.
Social & Emotional
Involves your child’s ability to express themselves and self-regulate their feelings, while developing a positive relationship with others. Your child’s ability to develop self-regulatory skills, attention, and persistence will assist in the development of future learning skills.
Science & Exploration
Involves supporting your child’s mental abilities required to think, explore the world, and connect and activate new and prior knowledge.
Physical Development & Wellness
Provides your child with opportunities to develop large and small gross motor skills, strength, and stamina. Activities and actions planned in this domain also provide knowledge and practical experience required to live a healthy lifestyle.
Music & Creative Expression
Involves how your child creatively explores the arts, drama, and music.
